Waiting on Yesterday

Waiting on yesterday

Before youth escapes me

And where one day has always been

The finish of all I began

A lonely triumph to victory

The solace of worthy

The forgotten less of worthiness

And the more adored was once a bore

Incoherent Ease

Loose thrills—incoherent ease
Prude insecurities worry so confidently
Hasty negativity rushes what will happen—what will be?
Imagination drills reality
Screwing what could be
Do you believe in only what you see?
What’s been sawed between you and me?
Dusty particles or ratios of ideals
Someone’s idea pays the bills
Sweeping another into a closet of skills

Dimensions of Belief

Cities cry
Neighborhoods hide
The illusions of my eyes
My tricky eyes

Mirrors shown
Revealing what’s to know
The reflecting unknown
My mind plays see-saw
And only the known sees

Waiting for the sight I seek
A vision I questioned
An answer I’ll meet
Through the dimensions of belief

Simplify Me

Some days send hours like bullies
Tough as the rough,
Standing tall
I won’t back down
Enough is enough

The night rushes upon me
All I could have done is all I see
How the minutes tick dizzily
Breaking through what is left of me

Scared emotionally
I’m just a woman can’t you see?
Plug me into rest
Like a rechargeable power
Tomorrow will be a full battery

Tonight—simplify me
Lay me into fragile
Like silky folds
Unravel me softly

Wreckage of Fiends

Standing on broken lines
Pacing the streets
Stop!  Caution or sign?

Turn from Reality onto the one-way Dreams
Continue until you reach the screams of Death
Life is ticking no time to rest
Push forward to the gravel of escape

You can’t turn back now it’s too late
Reality always has a scheme
How do you know memories from your dreams?

Prick a hole in your skin…now are you awake?
How to choose what you hold in your arms
A Mother’s love—warm embrace
A lover’s frame—with or without shame

What ever happened to what’s their name?
The one who made you special, before,
Chemical created every occasion

Guest of honor…you
A kingdom that travels
Through a fiend to crown a King
And, dethrone a Queen

Caring Carelessly

All the things I didn’t want you to know
You saw me so distant
So cold

In every hold
I was waiting for the let go
The hurt to unfold
I ran to have a place for the love to go

I lost pieces of me
Hoping how much I cared didn’t show
But, I knew you would only find what I told

And I can never say much simple
And you can’t be complicated
Together we are too jagged
 Separate cuts

I’m weaken by your strength
You dominate no purpose or intent
If only we stayed forgotten

My heart wouldn’t be mockery
How easy you seek me
  How easy you forget me
Hardly have you gotten me

I flow for the rhythm
Live acapella
No recorded deal

I get inspiration to voice what I feel
Gratification upon my satisfaction
How you amuse
Who forgot to show you attention?

On the one thing I can spare—moments
I wanted you to own it
Sign your perception on the line of reality

I wanted to be nasty
I wanted to be mean
But, I always keep my conscious clean
And I already pretended to be trashy

I wanted random pieces of your time
To create rhythm on times rhyme
Cherished memories

 Not molded to my mind
I already know that you’re not my kind
My troubles were never yours to find
Or the happiness that is always shortly behind

My feelings are not under my control
I can’t forbid them to show
A part of me you helped to grow

I care for you carelessly
And I want to share that with you fearlessly
To coward to thoughts would be a tragedy
You are a big deal that I want to feel

My Dark Sky

Belonging to the illumination of the moon
you were a diamond that shined
bright in my dark sky
the piece of coal
you shouldn't know

A star that glittered against my nothingness
like the shatter of broken glass
you reflected off the pieces of me
reflecting my dreams
how did you find a way into my reality
your sentiment alluded me

The magical atmosphere
your were a magician to my illusion
I must of cut your vision
deceiving my image
you saw blurry

Shining light
with honest lies
in my truth you lied
hoping I would find
a place to be alright
your glow hid me

I couldn't be the dim of you
Without being the depth of you
You knew what I couldn't do
I could never belong against you
I'm the blackness beneath you
