Humanity's Pardon

I fear the darkness behind bright eyes

The visible mask with translucent disguises

Accustomed to salaried costumes

The grit topped off with perfume

And the button down of cologne

Barely alone

Naked with or without purity

The lonely wants security

Flirty needs

Plant filthy seeds

The encouraged will nourish

Money does not make the soul rich

Invested in what society has dishearten

 Inhale slowly now breathe—humanity's pardon

Waiting on Yesterday

Waiting on yesterday

Before youth escapes me

And where one day has always been

The finish of all I began

A lonely triumph to victory

The solace of worthy

The forgotten less of worthiness

And the more adored was once a bore

Incoherent Ease

Loose thrills—incoherent ease
Prude insecurities worry so confidently
Hasty negativity rushes what will happen—what will be?
Imagination drills reality
Screwing what could be
Do you believe in only what you see?
What’s been sawed between you and me?
Dusty particles or ratios of ideals
Someone’s idea pays the bills
Sweeping another into a closet of skills

Dimensions of Belief

Cities cry
Neighborhoods hide
The illusions of my eyes
My tricky eyes

Mirrors shown
Revealing what’s to know
The reflecting unknown
My mind plays see-saw
And only the known sees

Waiting for the sight I seek
A vision I questioned
An answer I’ll meet
Through the dimensions of belief

Simplify Me

Some days send hours like bullies
Tough as the rough,
Standing tall
I won’t back down
Enough is enough

The night rushes upon me
All I could have done is all I see
How the minutes tick dizzily
Breaking through what is left of me

Scared emotionally
I’m just a woman can’t you see?
Plug me into rest
Like a rechargeable power
Tomorrow will be a full battery

Tonight—simplify me
Lay me into fragile
Like silky folds
Unravel me softly

Wreckage of Fiends

Standing on broken lines
Pacing the streets
Stop!  Caution or sign?

Turn from Reality onto the one-way Dreams
Continue until you reach the screams of Death
Life is ticking no time to rest
Push forward to the gravel of escape

You can’t turn back now it’s too late
Reality always has a scheme
How do you know memories from your dreams?

Prick a hole in your skin…now are you awake?
How to choose what you hold in your arms
A Mother’s love—warm embrace
A lover’s frame—with or without shame

What ever happened to what’s their name?
The one who made you special, before,
Chemical created every occasion

Guest of honor…you
A kingdom that travels
Through a fiend to crown a King
And, dethrone a Queen
